Holiday Events and Shopping in Kent, WA
The holidays are upon us, and we know that everyone has their own personal traditions and celebrates in their own way. We wanted to highlight a few of the local events happening in or near Kent that might help add to your celebrations this year, or even form a brand new tradition!
Taking place December 19th and 20th at The Outlet Collection Seattle in Auburn, Washington, the Christmas Dash Market, presented by The Traveling Happy Market, is a great way to infuse a little bit of extra flavor into your holiday gifts. Thirty different vendors will be there, selling a variety of handmade crafts and goods that make excellent presents -- and also allow you to support local small businesses with your patronage! There’s likely to be things there that you can’t find in most malls or boutiques, and there’s the bonus of an assortment of vendors being brought together for you, rather than having to hunt them down one by one. From November 2nd to December 30th, Kent’s annual holiday shows are available to you online! A combination of The Senior Activity Center's Holiday Craft Market and the Kent Common's Holiday Bazaar, this holiday extravaganza will feature all sorts of amazing present shopping opportunities. You can find something for anyone, with a wide variety of shopping categories for anything you may be looking for. The online bazaar is set up to allow you to purchase directly from the local vendors, and you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your own home to do it! Check out the link above to browse the vendors and see what you might want to bring home!
Carpinito Bro’s Holiday Light Display
Carpinito Bro’s is having an ongoing holiday light display for much of the month of December, open all day for exploring their set-up. They have all sorts of themed photo ops, the opportunity to meet some real live reindeer, and you can pick up a festive wreath on the way out! It’s a fun way to get in a festive mood for the rest of your holiday celebrations, whatever they may be.
We wish you the happiest of holidays! We hope that whatever you do, it’s fun, celebratory, and filled with warmth and light. Feel free to comment to let us know your plans!
